Mike
O'Leary, the
managing partner of DMO graduated from Michigan State University in
1979 with a degree in Engineering. Immediately following college, Mike
completed Caterpillar Inc.'s Executive Management Training Program and
established himself as an effective machine sales representative living
in three different Latin American locations: Peru, Chile, and Mexico.
In 1987, the O'Leary family moved back to Michigan where Mike worked as
a equipment salesman for Michigan Cat before becoming the Northern
Division Manager, a job he held for 10 years. During this 12 year
period Michigan Cat grew from $68 million in sales to $451 million and
became the largest Caterpillar Dealer in the United States.
In January 2000, DMO Enterprises was founded as a equipment brokerage. DMO Enterprises was established to fill the need to supply effective and affordable used construction equipment for a select Michigan based customer group. Later that same year, DMO became a business consultant and manufacturer's representative for the recently founded and quickly expanding Redi-Rock International. Aggressive marketing has created a large North American dealer network in 45 states and 5 provinces. Redi Rock is the #1 large block retaining wall systems supplier.
